RANZ Roof of the Year Awards

Open to all RANZ Members and all roof types, the RANZ Roofing Awards 2026 recognise exceptional workmanship, technical execution, and professional roofing practice across Aotearoa.

Awards will be presented at the RANZ Conference 2026.

Categories:

  • Residential Roof of the Year

  • Commercial Roof of the Year
    Commercial entries are now assessed in two size-based categories to ensure fair comparison across different project scales:

    • Light Commercial – projects under 1,000 m²

    • Large Scale Commercial – projects 1,000 m² and above

How to enter:
Enter by 13 February 2026 – email your completed entry form (with award category in the subject line) to: awards@ranz.co.nz

Terms and conditions:

  • Entries are open to RANZ Members only.

  • Up to three entries per Member, per category are permitted.

  • Project entries must be submitted by the main roofing contractor for the job.

  • By entering, you confirm that RANZ may use project details, company names and imagery for recognition and promotion of entrants and/or winners.

  • You must hold (or have obtained) the necessary permissions to use all imagery and to allow RANZ to promote the project and parties involved. This may include, but is not limited to: industry magazines, websites and social media channels associated with the roofing and construction industry.

So go ahead and get your entries in for a chance to be part of this year’s winning line-up.

 

RANZ Roofing Training Awards 2026

Roofing training continues to be a critical part of sector development, and many RANZ Member teams are actively investing in trainees and qualified roofers. These awards recognise that effort and the people behind it.

To celebrate training achievements in the 2025/26 year, award nominations are now open until 13 February 2026. See nomination forms and details at the links below:
