At RANZ, we’re committed to growing the future leaders of our industry, and we’re excited to announce the launch of our 2025 Mentorship Programme, designed to empower roofing professionals at every stage of their journey.

This six-month initiative will connect experienced industry veterans with those looking to sharpen their business skills, grow their leadership capabilities, and deepen their knowledge of the roofing sector. By bringing members together, the programme encourages knowledge-sharing, fosters valuable industry relationships, and ensures that wisdom and expertise are passed on to the next generation of roofing professionals.

The Programme at a Glance

The RANZ Mentorship Programme is structured yet flexible, pairing experienced members with those seeking fresh perspectives and practical support. Mentees will benefit from insights into the roofing industry, gain business development advice, clarify their goals, and strengthen their leadership confidence. Mentors, in turn, will have the rewarding opportunity to give back — sharing their expertise while supporting the professional growth of emerging leaders.

Key features of the programme include:

  • A six-month commitment between mentor and mentee

  • Three to four structured sessions across the programme

  • Flexible meeting formats: phone, video, or in-person

  • Confidential and professional engagements

  • Mentor training provided by RANZ to ensure consistency and quality

How the Programme Works

RANZ will match mentors and mentees based on experience, location, and specific areas of focus. Once connected, each pair will determine their own structure for engagement, allowing for flexibility while keeping aligned with the programme’s goals.

Please note:

  • The programme is voluntary, and mentors participate without remuneration

  • All participants will sign an indemnity and confidentiality agreement to protect privacy and clarify roles — RANZ does not take responsibility for advice given

  • Mentors and mentees will be matched from different regions to avoid business competition
